This week, we asked our team members to talk a bit about who inspires them, either professionally or personally.

Below, a handful of our favorites:

Jamil: Indie game developer Jonathan Blow, who developed the award-winning game Braid. Proof that a solo game developer can create a product that is innovative, thoughtful, and commercially successful.

Susan F.: My children and their unending inquisitiveness inspire me to make every day count.

Melissa: Emmet Gowin. As a photographer, his work has long been an inspiration to me; now as a parent, the subtle, haunting beauty he captures in the way he sees his family inspires me to looks past the immediate surface of my family life.

Mike: Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He single-handedly changed the path of video games as a form of entertainment by bringing his quirky artistic point of view to an (at the time) overly technical field.

Share your inspiration in the comments section. We’d love to hear!
